Today marks the 100-day countdown to the highly anticipated clash between long-time rivals Leeds United and Manchester United in Perth.
Leeds United legend Michael Bridges was in Perth last week to help promote the blockbuster match, to be held on July 17, 2019 at Optus Stadium.
Leeds United will bring their entire squad to Perth in July and spend six days in the State, as part of their pre-season training for the 2019-20 season.
The club has announced an open training session, which will be held at HBF Park on the evening of July 16, in the lead-up to the match.
Members of the public can buy a ticket for just $5 and get up close to watch their heroes train, with all proceeds going to charity. Tickets are on sale from 10am on Tuesday week (April 16).
The allocation for the Manchester United training session at the WACA Ground is already exhausted with all 13,000 tickets sold within the week.
Leeds United supporters will be based in Cottesloe, with fan engagement events held at the iconic Cottesloe Beach Hotel, including a three-a-side football pitch set-up, a golf day with Leeds United legends at the Sea View Golf Club, and sundowner drinks.

Leeds United, who will celebrate their centenary year next season, has a loyal fan base across the globe and is currently sitting third in the English Football League Championship, putting them in a good position to be promoted to the Premier League at the end of this season.
The club has won three English league titles, the latest of these in 1991-92.
Leeds United’s trip to Perth is supported by the State Government, through Tourism WA and VenuesWest and by Optus Stadium operator, VenuesLive.
As stated by Tourism Minister Paul Papalia:
“We are very excited to be welcoming Leeds United to Western Australia in just 100 days’ time.
“Leeds United has a strong and loyal fan following in Australia, and around the world, so having them play traditional rivals Manchester United in Perth is a major visitor drawcard.
“Fans will have plenty of opportunities to engage with their football idols during the club’s time here in Perth, and we’re looking forward to showing the team all that Perth has to offer during their time here.”
As stated by Sport and Recreation Minister Mick Murray:
“Leeds United remain one of the most followed clubs in English football, with a long and successful history, so it really is a coup to have them here to take on Manchester United in July.
“The open training session will give local fans the opportunity to get out and see their heroes up close, while also supporting charity.”
