Get excited because the Swan Hill Rural City Council has just launched a special program for its upcoming performing arts season, covering shows to be held at the Swan Hall Town Hall Performing Arts Centre and at the Robinvale Community Arts Centre Theatre
With an exciting mixture of events coming up, the program has been prepared for Swan Hill, Robinvale and our smaller communities to discover what they can look forward to in 2020.
A digital version of the brochure is now available on the Swan Hill Town Hall website and hard copies of the brochure will be posted out to those on the performing arts mailing list.
Swan Hill Town Hall Manager Yvette Myhill said she was looking forward to sharing what was in store.
“We’ve created a program with a varied and interesting mix of dance, music, theatre and comedy, so we can appeal to as many community members as we can,” Ms Myhill said.
“I really encourage all members of our community, even if you don’t think you have an interest in performing arts, to head online and find out what’s coming to our local stages this year.”
“The first half of the year is going to be jam packed with a bar-themed tavern comedy theatre show, the legendary Toni Childs, international ballet, children’s entertainment in the School holidays with the Mik Maks, iconic musician Ian Moss and an open mic Comedy night,” she said.
There are early bird discounts available for many of the shows, so get in quick for the best prices. We have also responded to community feedback to ensure that patrons can choose their preferred seat for shows.
Ms Myhill said tickets can be purchased fee-free online or in person from the Swan Hill Town Hall Bookings Office (Monday to Friday 9am to 2.30pm), as well as the Swan Hill Region Information Centre (seven days, 9am to 5pm).
