The Australian Tourism Industry Council is delighted to announce the finalists for the 2022 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards.
The awards recognise excellence across 25 categories including Major Tourist Attraction, Festivals and Events, Adventure Tourism and 5 Star Luxury Accommodation, to name a few. The finalists for these prestigious awards are drawn from the Gold winners at each State & Territory’s own tourism awards program.
Shaun de Bruyn, Chair of the Australian Tourism Awards, congratulated all the finalists from across Australia.
“To reach the finalists stage of the Australian Tourism Awards is a great honour in itself and all finalists should be immensely proud of their efforts.,” said Mr de Bruyn.
Sydney’s glamorous Dolton House on Darling Island will host the 2022 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards on Friday 17 March 2023. The awards will take this as an opportunity to showcase the State in all its glory from entertainment to food & wine and inspiring itineraries to extend guest’s stay.
NSW Minister for Tourism, Ben Franklin, said the NSW Government was proud to be hosting the finalists of the 2022 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards in Sydney.
“NSW is home to the nation’s best tourism offerings and the gateway to Australia. I am delighted Sydney is hosting the 2022 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards to honour the best of the best in the Australian Tourism Industry and celebrate the enormous impact Tourism has in driving our nation’s visitor economy,” Mr Franklin said.
“The NSW Government joins ATIC in congratulating the finalists and we look forward to welcoming them from across the country to the Harbour City for Australian tourism’s night of nights.”
The Awards acknowledges the continued support by Qantas for the ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Tourism Awards as our naming rights sponsor.
