Council approved seven applications for funding totalling $10,503.90 under Round 1 of the 2023/24 Council Community Strengthening Grants Scheme as recommended by the Community Grant Funding Working Group.

Leeton Connect | $1,845 for the purchase of two mobile phones for the Coordinator and Grants Support Officer. |
Leeton Show Society | $1,000 for the purchase of safety equipment. |
Leeton Jockey Club | $2,000 for the purchase of a 13m container to store equipment that is currently stored under the grandstand that will be demolished. |
Jim Grahame re-enactment committee (auspiced by Western Riverina Arts) | $1,500 for the development of ‘Jim Grahame re-enactment’ project prospectus. |
Yanco Wamoon Rugby League Football Club Ladies Auxillary (auspiced by Yanco Wamoon FC) | $1,499 for the purchase of an automatic coffee machine for canteen and fundraising. |
