The 41th Myer City of Hobart Christmas Pageant was held today in ideal conditions and in front of a crowd estimated of more than 20,000 attendees excitedly celebrating the start of the festive season.
It was tough work for the judges – Hobart Lord Mayor Anna Reynolds, Hobart Myer My Store Manager Kathleen Kelly, Hobart Creative City Portfolio Chair Cr John Kelly, Southern Cross Austereo Executive General Manager Ally Bradley and 2023 Tasmanian Australian of the Year John Kamara – to pick winners from the 46 floats entered into the pageant, including 12 first-time entrants.
However, after much deliberation the winners and runners-up have been decided.
