The program aims to prepare players for the rigours of professional cricket through continued exposure to high level competition such as Victorian Premier Cricket and the U19 ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Championships.
With the addition of the Melbourne Renegades and Stars T20 Performance Manager’s (Wade Seccombe and Clint McKay) the program will further enhance the experience and playing opportunities for players as they develop their skill and understanding of the game.
Development areas will focus on accessing different scoring areas, athletic movements, and high impact bowling strategies.

Adding further excitement to the upcoming season is the second edition of the U19 Women’s World Cup being held in Malaysia in January 2025.
The pre-season program has recently commenced and includes training sessions at the CitiPower Centre & MCG with holistic player development the forefront. Players will be exposed to all aspects of being a professional cricket player with the Sport Science Sport Medicine team (Performance Psychologist, Dietitian, Strength & Conditioning, Physiotherapy) and Victorian Women’s program Player Development Manger supporting the wider development of the squad.
The squads will be mentored by Head Coach Nicole Martin and former Victorian Women’s Players Amy Vine & Megan Pauwels. Specialist coach Kelly Applebee (Former Victorian Women’s representative) and guidance from the Victorian Women’s Team senior coaching group.
