As stated by Education Minister Dr Tony Buti:

“I congratulate Ethan and Kevin on being the recipients for Western Australia’s peak awards for senior secondary students. To be awarded a Beazley Medal is an outstanding achievement. Both Ethan and Kevin have worked hard for this moment and are reaping the rewards of their efforts.

“Ethan and Kevin should be proud of their achievements and enjoy this moment.

“A student’s journey through school is a collective effort. I acknowledge the contributions made to all our students’ achievements through the engagement of parents and caregivers, school leaders and staff, and the community.

“My congratulations to each of the 3,722 senior secondary school students who will find out today that they have achieved an exhibition or award from the School Curriculum and Standards Authority. Congratulations on your success. What a wonderful way to celebrate the end of your time at senior secondary school.”
