The City is delighted to unveil the winning cover image for the 2025 City of Greater Geelong Calendar, Sea Baths by Louise Edebone.
The cover image features a vibrant aerial photograph of the Eastern Beach promenade and swimming enclosure.
The Geelong calendar competition invites local photographers to submit their images of Geelong and its surrounds. This year, there were over 750 images submitted from photographers.
To select the cover image for the calendar, we conducted a public vote, and the competition saw participation from over 3,100 unique voters.
City of Greater Geelong CEO Ali Wastie
The yearly calendar is popular with residents and it’s wonderful to have a community member’s photo on the cover.
Thank you to everyone who submitted a photo for the calendar competition. It is always a pleasure to see Greater Geelong through so many different lenses.
2025 cover winner Louise Edebone
I am thrilled to have my photo on the cover.
We are spoilt for choice living in this beautiful region, not only within Geelong city but also beyond with the rural landscapes and surf coast. There is so much to experience within easy reach.
The historic sea bath and timber promenade evoke the carefree summers of yesteryear.
The 2025 calendars will be available in December to collect from City of Greater Geelong customer service centres:
- Wurriki Nyal – 137-149 Mercer Street, Geelong
- Corio Shopping Centre – Corner Bacchus Marsh and Purnell Roads
