On Feb. 7, Cornell’s Center for Advanced Computing (CAC) and Weill Cornell Medicine Scientific Computing, ITS, and Clinical and Translational Science Center will roll out the 2023 Scientific Computing Training Series.
The Zoom-based training will be available for free to all workforce members and students of Cornell, WCM, WCM-Q, and Cornell Tech.
Twelve training sessions will be offered during the winter/spring semesters:

- R Basics
- Python for Scientific Computing and Data Science
- Python for Digital Humanities and Social Science
- Creating the Best Visualizations for your Data
- Revision Control with Git
- Python for Data Visualization
- Research Project Software Continuity
- Working with Excel Files in Python and C#
- Scripting ImageJ and PowerPoint with Python
- Using the Whole Processor
- Using Relational Databases for Research.
