Last week, the NSW Government announced it would fund temporary crisis accommodation for international students affected by the COVID-19 crisis, to be delivered through approved student accommodation or homestay providers. This is an important commitment from NSW. Austrade continues to work with all international education study destination agencies across the nation — each play a vital role in supporting international students and providing welfare services, mental health support and emergency relief.
The Australian Government and states and territories are working together to deliver a range of initiatives that support providers, agents and the diverse businesses in international education through the COVID-19 crisis.
