The ABC will bring Australians full coverage of this Saturday’s Coronation of King Charles III across its television and digital radio platforms and to audiences across the Asia Pacific via ABC Australia and Radio Australia.
The Drum’s Julia Baird and ABC News presenter Jeremy Fernandez will host the special coverage from 5.00pm (AEST) before crossing live to London for the BBC’s coverage at 7.30pm.
Leading into the Coronation, a two-hour special from 5.00pm will look at the type of monarch King Charles might be and how relevant the monarchy is to the lives of Australians and within the broader Commonwealth in 2023.
