Accelerate to CUL-TI-VATE

Applications are now open to get your business off the ground!

Brimbank Council’s CUL-TI-VATE program is accepting applications from entrepreneurs or intrepreneurs, as well as small business owners, who are looking to future proof their business.

The program is aimed at accelerating the process of finding a business idea, developing it, and scaling the business into a sustainable model.

Brimbank Mayor, Cr Lucinda Congreve encouraged anyone with a great business idea, creativity, imagination and enthusiasm to apply.

“You might have the idea, but sometimes all it takes is that little bit of support to really kick start your business. CUL-TI-VATE has been developed to do just that, so it’s the perfect time to apply,” Cr Congreve said.

“This is a fast paced nine-week program and includes nine start-up masterclasses, so if you’re looking for networking opportunities, invitations to special events, and complimentary access to iHarvest Coworking Sunshine, then get your application in.

“You’ll also be able to access complimentary registration to the Legal Essentials for Start-ups and Small Business Workshop, as well as six months of co-working at a discounted rate after the program’s completion,” Cr Congreve said.

All applications for the Cul-ti-vate program will go through an interview and assessment process which will include an invitation to share your idea in a 10-minute one-on-one with one of the VU Entrepreneurs in Residence. Successful applicants will be invited to a welcoming event on Tuesday 10 September.
