We’re refreshing 53 accessible car parks across Bayside to improve accessibility and inclusion.
These minor upgrades include new line markings, bollards and reinstated signposts to ensure our parking spaces meet current standards. The works will not result in any loss of public parking spaces.
To minimise disruption, our rolling program of works will refresh accessible parking spaces in stages, beginning in late October and continuing until the end of the year.
Car parks scheduled for minor upgrades will be signposted two days prior to work starting.
While each car park will be temporarily out of service for approximately 72 hours, you can find alternative accessible car parking locations on our .
These works deliver on a key action of Bayside’s Parking Strategy and are informed by feedback from our Disability Access and Inclusion Advisory Committee and an audit of accessible parking spaces in Bayside.
