Council advises residents that our scheduled urban street resealing program on streets in Adaminaby, Bombala and Old Adaminaby will commence late next week.
This work is part of Council’s significant investment in the Snowy Monaro’s road network this financial year. More than a dozen roads across Adaminaby, Old Adaminaby and Bombala are scheduled for heavy patching or resealing, improving safety and road user experience.
Council intends to carry out resealing works on Bombala, Adaminaby and Old Adaminaby Streets as follows:
Bombala Streets – Thursday 14 March (weather dependent)
- Bright Street – Maybe Street to Wellington Street
- Caveat Street – Maybe Street to Mercy Street
- Wellington Street – Keys Street to Burton Street
Adaminaby Streets – Friday 15 March (weather dependent)
- Cosgrove Street – Snowy Mountains Highway to Chalker Street
- Chalker Street – Cosgrove Street to End (eastern side only)
Old Adaminaby Streets – Friday 15 March (weather dependent)
- Clancy Street – Lucas Street to End
- Hill Street – Clancy Street to Rainbow Street
- Banjo Street – Clancy Street to Hill Street
- Rainbow Street – Hill Street to Lucas Street
Council’s contractor for this project will notify residents and businesses on affected streets directly by letter, ahead of work beginning.
Please note: It is essential that vehicles are removed from the street during working hours (6am to 6pm) to ensure the quality of the completed road surface. Any vehicles left parked on the road will negatively affect the repair works in that area.
