Campaspe Stadiums continues the Active Stadiums Pilot Program, with new sport sessions announced for the last month of the program.

During June, Pickleball sessions will be offered at the Echuca and Kyabram Stadiums to expand the sport in the region and engage more users.

Campaspe Shire Mayor, Cr Rob Amos is excited about the new activities and says it’s a great way for community to get involved and try their hand at new sports.

“The Active Stadiums Pilot Program has been well received in the community. It’s been great to revitalise the stadiums during daytime hours and introduce residents to new sports and activities,” Cr Amos added.

Healthy Loddon Campaspe Coordinator, Alicia O’Brien said “We’re delighted to continue to support the Active Stadiums Pilot Program. The program was first trialled at the start of 2024 to provide residents of all abilities with an accessible, cost-effective way to be active, and we’re pleased to see its popularity increase over the last six months.”
