The Holy month of Ramadan has started for Muslims across the world. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is hosting two events marking this Holy month:
1) Interfaith Seminar on ‘Fasting in My Religion’, featuring speakers from eight different faiths and community groups
- Details: 29th March 2023 at 10.30am at Oasis Centre, Flinders University
2) Iftar Dinner and Interfaith Symposium
- Details: Sunday 9th April 2023 at 4.15pm to 6.30pm at Mahmood Mosque (6-8 Toogood Avenue Beverley SA 5009)
The Imam of the community, Imam Kamran Tahir, said:
“We invite all to join us in this blessed month for an Iftar, which represents the meal breaking the fast. Ramadan is a blessed month for Muslims in which Muslims fast from dawn to dusk, whilst focusing more on their spirituality and helping the needy.”
