Adelaide’s Muslim Community Responds to Quran Burning in Sweden with Holy Quran Exhibition

Ahmadiyya Muslim Community SA

In response to the burning of the sacred Islamic scripture, the Holy Quran, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community South Australia has organised a Holy Quran Exhibition.

The purpose of the exhibition is to display the true teachings of the Holy Quran and allow members of the public to personally view the Holy Quran. Members of the public are invited to ask any questions that they may have.

The Imam of the community in Adelaide, Imam Kamran Tahir said,

“The reason why some individuals are burning the Holy Quran is because they do not know the true teaching of Islam and the Holy Quran. Moreover, due to the actions of some terrorists amongst the Muslims, these people get the impression that this might actually be written in the Quran. We are holding this exhibition to introduce and exemplify the true and peaceful teachings of Islam so that people understand the reality of our religion.”

The exhibition is being hosted at the Burnside Civic Centre (401 Greenhill Road Tusmore 5065) from 01 February to 10 February, 9.30am to 4.30pm.
