The national employer association Australian Industry Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Ai Group SA Head Jodie van Deventer as its Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Jodie joined Ai Group in November 2021 as its South Australian State Head and will remain in Adelaide as she moves into this national industry role.
“Jodie is an outstanding appointment who will bring a sharp member and commercial focus which will be crucial to us as we deliver our new corporate plan. Before joining Ai Group Jodie was Chief Executive of the Committee for Adelaide for five years and prior to that she worked at other industry associations, ran her own business and worked in the media both locally at The Advertiser and in London,” Ai Group Chief Executive Officer Innes Willox said.
Jodie said she was delighted to take up the national role while being able to remain in Adelaide.
“Not too long ago, this position would have required an interstate move and it bodes well for our city that this is no longer the case,” Ms van Deventer said.
