Join Hawkesbury Central Library for an evening with ‘spy, thriller and action’ writer Chris Allen on Monday, 10 February at 6pm.
Chris will discuss his Intrepid books, which are soon to be developed into a Netflix series.
Chris was born in Perth, Western Australia. A former paratrooper, Chris served with the Australian Army including attachments to the New Zealand Army, the British Parachute Regiment and deployments to Africa, South East Asia and Central America. He retired at the rank of Major.
In addition to his interesting military career, Chris has led security operations for a major international aid agency in East Timor during the 1999 emergency, and overseen the upgrade of Counter Terrorism First Response measures at Sydney Airport in the wake of the September 11 attacks in 2001.
Tea and coffee will be provided following the event. Chris’s books will be available for purchase and signing.
