A wide range of new and creative events are coming to Wyndham over the coming months.
The Annex, located adjacent to the Wyndham Cultural Centre in Watton St, Werribee will host the events.
In October, the community will be able to partake in three performative activities:
: Featuring Connor Ovenden-Shaw, will be on 19 October, 23 November and 14 December from 7pm to 9pm. Words in the West is a night of live spoken word, visual performance and poetry, highlighting creators and writers in Melbourne’s west.
: Latin-Jazz weekly music performances and workshops with Rod Pilois, from 1pm to 2pm on 28 October and 11 November. Come and hear chill-out tunes, grooves and soulful rhythms followed by an interactive drum workshop.
I Will Figure it Out Later: Featuring ArtDecypher opens on Wednesday 25, October to Sunday 5, November from 11am to 3pm. An art exhibition that pokes fun at art while celebrating the creative process.
Wyndham City’s Creative Cities portfolio holder, Cr Marcel Mahfoud, said: “Wyndham’s arts community is embracing The Annex as a creative space where local creatives can present visual and digital art exhibitions, installations and performing arts presentations including music, workshops, spoken word, poetry and sound design.”
