Orange Council

Younger shoppers will be scouring the shelves of local CBD stores in the coming weeks, on the hunt for mystery elves.

The annual Elf in the Shelf competition, run by Orange City Council’s Youth Services team, isset to begin with the chance to win one of ten $50 ‘Think Orange Region’ gift cards.

The competition starts Tuesday, 28 November and will close on Thursday, 21 December 2023.

GOOD FOR YOUR ELF: Can you find one of the mystery elves, now lurking on the shelves of Orange businesses?

To enter the competition, people will have to spot the Elf in one of 15 CBD businesses, then scan the QR code on posters in local stores to fill the online entry form.

Entrants can also fill out the paper form in-store. They will then go into the draw to win one of ten $50 Think Orange Region gift cards.

Orange Mayor Jason Hamling said that he is excited that the Elf in the Shelf competition is returning this year.

“It’s also the opportunity to reward people who shop locally and support local businesses and to help the Orange economy.”
