Annual Grants round now open 19 August

Inner West Council

Inner West Council has opened its annual grants program.

The grants assist local organisations and citizens to initiate programs and services at the grassroots level.

“I encourage our local community groups and artists to apply,” said Inner West Mayor Darcy Byrne.

“Now more than ever, these organisations need seed funding and cash injections.

“We’re know there’s greater need and increased demand for services.

“Inner West officers are available to help write grant applications. All applications will be independently assessed without political interference.

“I’ve seen for myself the amazing and vital work that has been achieved by previous year’s grant recipients, so I know how important this type of funding can be,” Mayor Byrne said.

The grants are for one-year projects commencing in February until December 2022.

The Annual Grants round is open until Friday 16 September.
