WorkCover Queensland has updated the Private Hospital Services Table of Costs, effective 1 December 2024.
Thank you to those who provided us with feedback as part of this year’s review.
As part of the annual pricing review, we have:
- updated definitions of a ‘private hospital’ to address new private Accident and Emergency (A+E) facilities and interactions with Medical Table of Costs ‘facility fees’
- clarified rules for private hospital and medical specialists charging for day patient/inpatient services related to ECT and rTMS treatment interventions
- updated our references to the ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Procedure Banding List and Department of Health and Ageing Prostheses List descriptors and rules.
The updated descriptors and fees are now available on our (under Current hospital fees > Private Hospital Services Table of Costs – Effective from 1 December 2024).
