The Casey TAC L2P program helps young people to realise their potential by empowering them to get their driving licence. This program is only made possible by the efforts of volunteer mentor drivers, who are a very diverse group of people-younger, older, retired, full time workers, or from various cultural backgrounds.
, and to inspire you, here are the stories of some diverse Casey volunteer mentor drivers, told in their own words.
Kasuni
Hi, my name is Kasuni. I work full time in the CBD, and I volunteer with the Casey L2P Program. I love being a part of the program and being able to help other young people experience freedom and independence by getting their license.
New volunteer training is coming up in December. Why not become a volunteer like me?
Ruiat
Hi! My name is Ruiat. I am a professional driving instructor; a mum and I volunteer with the Casey L2P Program.
Being part of L2P is a constant source of happiness because every day I play a role in changing someone’s life.
Jeremy
Hey! I’m Jeremy and I am currently studying part-time and I volunteer with the Casey TAC L2P program.
I am excited to join the program because it offers me the chance to meet new people and the satisfaction of seeing someone achieve their dream.
Irene
Hey, Irene here. I work full-time and I volunteer with the Casey TAC L2P program. I love this volunteer role because I can teach young people driving skills and this opens opportunities for them. Thank you L2P for making this possible!
