Police are appealing for public assistance to identify an injured cyclist following a crash in Sydney inner west last week.
Just before 4pm today (Sunday 17 November 2024), police were called to Station Street, Newtown, after reports of a damaged vehicle.
On arrival, officers attached to Inner West Police Area Command located a parked vehicle with a smashed rear windscreen.
A crime scene was established which was forensically examined by specialist police, and an investigation into the incident commenced.
Following initial inquires, police believe a male cyclist crashed heavily into the parked vehicle about 4.13am on Friday 15 November 2024, and was seen riding from the scene towards Enmore Road sometime later.
Police hold concerns for the cyclist’s welfare.
