Police are appealing for information after a public place shooting in Sydney’s north west last year.
About 9pm on Wednesday 13 September 2023, emergency services were called to Niland Crescent, Blackett, following reports a man had been shot.
On arrival, officers attached to Mount Druitt Police Area Command located a 29-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his head, body and forearm.
He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition. The man has since been released from hospital and continues to recover from his injuries.
Investigators established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident under Strike Force Tiarri.
As inquiries continue, detectives have released CCTV vision of a grey Ford Ranger and two males – dressed in black clothing – who may be able to assist with inquiries.
