Police are appealing for information from the public after a man suffered critical injuries in Sydney’s inner west earlier this week.
About 10.40am on Tuesday 25 June 2024, emergency services were called to Mitchell Street, Glebe, following reports of a concern for welfare.
Upon arrival, officers from the Leichhardt Police Area Command located a 45-year-old man on the footpath, suffering critical injuries.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man at the scene before he was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
Detectives from Leichhardt Police Area Command established Strike Force Anniversary to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
