Police are appealing for public assistance after a man has died in a fatal crash in state’s west.
Just after 12.50pm yesterday (Saturday 10 February 2024), emergency services were called to Premer Road, Tambar Spring, approximately 138km west from Tamworth, following reports of a single motorcycle crash.
On arrival, officers attached to Oxley Police District located a body of 61-year-old man.
Police were told that the man allegedly collided with a wire fence and ejected from the motorcycle before he died at the scene.
It is believed that a white ute was in the vicinity at the time of incident.
A crime scene was established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident has commenced.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
