Police are appealing for information as investigations continue into a truck rollover in Sydney’s south-west today.
About 8.30am (Monday 13 November 2023), emergency services were called to the M7, Horsley Park, following reports of a single-vehicle crash after a truck had rolled.
On arrival, officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command located an unoccupied tabletop truck on its side and amount of fluid on the road.
Police have been told that two males, believed to be the driver and passenger left the scene prior to police arrival.
There were no injuries reported due to this incident.
As part of inquiries, detectives from Fairfield City Police Area Command have established the truck attended a service station on the The Horsley Drive, Horsley Park and failed to pay for approximately $6,300 amount of diesel fuel, a short time before the rollover.
A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding is underway.
The driver – a man believed to be in his 30s or 40s – is described as being of medium build, last seen wearing a white cap, orange/black Hi-Vis t-shirt, orange/yellow shorts and grey shoes.
The passenger – a man believed to be in his 20s or 30s – is described as being of medium build, wearing a dark blue/black coloured hooded jacket.
