Round 2 of the World and ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Heritage Listed Places- First Nations Heritage Values Grants Program is now open.
The First Nations Heritage Grants program aims to:
- support the addition of Indigenous heritage values to existing World and ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Heritage-listed properties
- better protect First Nations heritage and improve engagement with First Nations Peoples.
The program provides $5.5 million over 3 years. Projects must be on-Country where First Nations people manage First Nations cultural heritage values. Management activities include:
- identification
- assessment
- recording
- protection.
Some existing World and ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Heritage-listed places are eligible to apply.
