Water Minister Dave Kelly today announced the re-appointment of Dr Wendy Giles and Rhonda Norman and the appointment of Mick Murray to the Aqwest Board of Directors.
Minister Kelly also acknowledged the service of retiring Deputy Chair Neville Eastman who has served on the Aqwest Board for the past 10 years.
Dr Giles is the former Associate Dean of Edith Cowan University in Bunbury, a South Regional TAFE Governing Council member and a City of Bunbury Councillor. Mrs Norman is a proud Noongar Wilman woman and has extensive experience in human resource management, training, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning and policy development.
Mr Murray is a former Member of Parliament, having served the Collie-Preston electorate for 20 years before retiring in 2021 and is a passionate supporter of junior hockey and football.
Other serving Board Directors are Chair Stan Liaros, Tresslyn Smith and Patricia Scaffidi.

“Mick has been a champion of the South-West community as a former MP for two decades and brings a wealth of experience to the Board.
“Neville has made a significant contribution over 10 years to the Board, holding the roles of Deputy Chair and Chair of the Board’s Audit Committee and I thank him for his dedicated service.
“The Aqwest Board of Directors bring a diverse range of skills and extensive business experience which ensure they can continue to make informed decisions in the best interest of customers and shareholders – the people of the City of Bunbury.”
