A man has been arrested following a series of overnight break-ins at Oaklands Park.
Just after 2.40am on Tuesday 18 December, police patrols were called to Doreen Street at Oaklands Park after a resident reported a man had walked into the house and stolen a mobile phone.
Minutes later police received a second call from a resident in nearby Milton Street, who stated an intruder had just broken into their home via a back window and rummaged through their belongings before leaving.
Southern Districts patrols cordoned off surrounding nearby streets and called in a police dog patrol who started a search.
At about 3.40am while the search was still being conducted, a resident in Barry Street who was watching TV at the time, approached a police patrol advising a man had just entered their home via a back window.
Patrols entered the home and arrested the 33-year-old man who has been linked to all three incidents.
The arrested man from Oaklands Park has been charged with numerous offences including three counts of aggravated serious criminal trespass, theft of the phone, and property damage. He has been refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court later today.
Police enquiries are continuing with possible further charges to be laid in connection with alleged similar offending.
