The Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) has completed a very successful presence at the AGQUIP 2022 event in Gunnedah, NSW, the largest and pre-eminent annual primary industry event in the country.

ARTC took an exhibition stall and our team on the ground met with plenty of the estimated 100,000 visitors to the three-day event held between August 16th-18th at a special 34 hectare site some eight miles west of Gunnedah.

The AQGUIP event gives companies involved in the agricultural industries and allied sectors the chance to showcase over 3,000 products and services to our country’s farmers.

ARTC has been a regular exhibitor, and we once again took the opportunity to interact with farmers and explain the role that ARTC plays in helping to deliver their products to local and export markets.

As well as explaining to farmers how the current ARTC network supports the agricultural sector, transporting millions of tons of grain and other products, ARTC also took the opportunity to talk up the benefit of the Inland Rail program of works.

Hunter Valley Network Group Executive Wayne Johnson said: “AGQUIP is a fantastic event that brings together stakeholders from right across the agricultural sector and ARTC was once again very proud to be present.

“Our representatives really valued the opportunity to meet and talk with the farming community and tell them how ARTC is supporting them in getting their products to market in a fast and cost-efficient manner.

“We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to get back to the event again next year to see old friends and make more new ones at the 50th annual AGQUIP event.”
