Perth Detectives have charged a man in relation to an assault that occurred in Northbridge early this morning, Sunday 25 August 2019.
Around 4am, a fight broke out involving a group of people near the intersection of Lake and Francis Streets. It will be alleged that during the incident, a man struck a woman, aged in her 20’s, in the head with a glass bottle.
Police were in the vicinity and arrested a man.
A 29 year old man from Mandurah has been charged with: Acts or Omissions Causing Bodily Harm or Danger to any Person.
He remains in custody and is due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court tomorrow, Monday 26 August 2019.
The woman was treated by St John Ambulance officers at the scene and conveyed to hospital.
