Congratulations to Associate and who now hold an Associate Member position with the .
AAHMS is Australia’s leading health and medical science advocacy body. Collectively, it is a representative and independent voice, through which fellows and members engage with the community, industry and governments. AAHMS admits leading researchers (via peer review) as fellows of the academy.
Emerging research leaders (generally at Associate Professor level) are admitted as associate members if their contributions to the health and medical sciences are deemed to be of high quality.
“I am really excited to be admitted to AAHMS as an associate member. I look forward to the opportunity to be mentored and interact with some of Australia’s best health and medical scientists,” A Prof Malhotra said.
The program complements mentorship programs in universities and institutes, assisting individuals reaching associate professor or junior professor levels – through mentorship – to navigate higher-level leadership and research.
“I feel very fortunate to be accepted in the AAHMS Mentorship program. In particular in these times when guidance and advice can make a big difference to a program. I am very much looking forward to sharing experiences and hearing about my mentor’s perspectives,” A Prof Nold said.
