Melbourne VIC, February 12, 2019: Australia’s leading strategic asset management consultancy and software as a service provider Assetic today announced the appointment of David D’Aprano to the role of Chief Executive Officer.
The appointment comes as the decade-old firm expands its team to service the booming infrastructure asset management industry globally with both specialist services and software. Backed by significant investment from MH Carnegie & Co, Assetic solutions help infrastructure agencies deliver acceptable service to communities at the optimal investment point.
Mr D’Aprano brings a strong history of building global services businesses, particularly for business-to-business providers in the technology space. He started his IT career as one of the very early employees of one Australia’s IT success stories Com Tech Communications that went on to be acquired by Dimension Data. After a further 16 years at Dimension Data, in which he built a number of global professional and managed services business, Mr D’Aprano has spent the last 18 months working with variety of bright tech start-ups, Australian technology companies and technology-focused venture capitalists.

As CEO Mr D’Aprano will be responsible for managing the company’s continued growth, particularly through a strategic focus on their services outcomes. He will also support operational projects and strategic development. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from The University of Melbourne.
Assetic Co-founder and Director Ashay Prabhu said that securing a CEO with Mr D’Aprano’s expertise is a coup for the firm and will underpin the company’s aggressive growth strategy.

Mr D’Aprano’s appointment is part of a broader expansion that includes the appointment of North American industry veteran Edward A. Singer to General Manager of that region, as Assetic original team member Brad Campbell transitions from that role to General Manager of Sales globally.
