Australia Under 16s will face Pakistan Under 16s in a six-match series in Dubai, starting today.
The teams will play five Youth ODI matches followed by a T20 match.
The Australian team was selected following the SSA 15 & Under Boys Cricket Championship in early 2018, with a couple of changes made to the initial squad named since then.
The team will be coached by former Australian cricketer Chris Rogers, with former Victorian cricketer Craig Howard his assistant coach.

“The series is an opportunity for these young men to go and learn in different conditions and be challenged in different ways,” coach Chris Rogers said.
“It’s as much about the cricket as it is the life experience – learning about the game, and learning about life and other cultures.
“We know the cricket is going to be challenging. Pakistan will have a really good side, and we’re excited about that challenge.
“There’s no pressure – it’s all about learning. I’m looking forward to seeing the Australian players continue to improve, and seeing which players look to learn and find ways to get better in these conditions.”
The matches are being played at the ICC Academy in Dubai, and will be live-scored by ESPN Cricinfo.
