Cessnock City Council is excited to announce that construction for the new Avery’s Lane Park has now kicked off.
The Park will be located within Avery’s Rise, Heddon Greta and will be a welcome addition to the growing new community.
The playspace will include exciting play elements such as an accessible spinner, double bay swing and a multiplay unit featuring a turbo slide, rope net and so much more.
Cessnock City Mayor Jay Suvaal said the new park reflects the growing community in the LGA.
“Avery’s Lane Park will be a welcome space where families, friends and members of the community can come together to create lasting memories,” said Clr Suvaal.
“While we are still in the early stages of construction, I’m sure this park is going to be a hotspot for the neighbourhood.
“I look forward to seeing the park open, for all members of the community to enjoy.”
Avery’s Lane Park is funded by developer contributions and is set to open to the public in June 2024.
