As stated by RSPCA WA Executive Manager Fundraising and Programs Ken Doran:
“We know that many people were busy baking up a storm during lockdown, and Cupcake Day is a fun and rewarding way to put those skills to good use.
“Despite the name, there’s no limits to the goodies hosts can whip up – brownies, lamingtons, sausage rolls or even that bread recipe you’ve been perfecting.
“It’s been a tough year, and we could all use a dose of sweet treats and feel-good fun. Your fundraising directly helps RSPCA animals receive the life-saving medical treatment, rehabilitation, shelter and care they desperately need.
“RSPCA WA relies on the community for the majority of the funding needed to help animals and give them a second chance. So your fundraising really does change lives.”
