Music fans can mark their calendar for Saturday 17 May, 2025 when BASSINTHEGRASS Music Festival returns to Mindil Beach.

The Territory’s largest music festival is renowned for bringing beachside vibes under the palms in perfect weather.

BASS 2024 saw international rap superstar Macklemore captivate the 16,000 people who walked through the gate with the crowd lapping up a guest appearance by Tones and I. Bag Raiders, Bliss N Eso, Ziggy Alberts and The Jungle Giants were among the more than 40 acts who brought festival goers an epic BASSINTHEGRASS.

This year also saw an exciting shake-up to the festival with the addition of a new stage – the BASSment, which will return in 2025. The 360-degree stage was popular among festival goers seeking an intimate experience with artists who included Young Franco, UKs Sam Divine and Sunshine and Disco Faith Choir.

Independent research into BASS 2024 found 56 per cent of attendees were likely to return to BASS with more than a third of festival goers being first time attendees. The total expenditure stimulus was $13.15 million, of which $12.41 million was spent in Darwin.

Flights with Virgin Australia are on sale now until Sunday 8 September. Sale fares fall over the BASS 2025 weekend, rally your Southern mates and get them to book their holiday to the Top End.
