The (TNFD), , , and are inviting Australian organisations to become TNFD Adopters ahead of the Global Nature Positive Summit (Summit). Becoming a TNFD Adopter is a commitment to getting started with TNFD-aligned reporting.
The TNFD is a global initiative which has developed a risk management and disclosure framework and guidance, to support organisations to report and act on their nature-related dependencies, impacts, risks and opportunities.
A commitment to nature positive outcomes
Both the Summit and the TNFD support accelerating collective action to contribute to nature positive outcomes. The Summit is the perfect opportunity for companies to showcase nature positive leadership on a global stage, and commit to reducing their negative impacts on nature and doing more to protect and repair our environment.
The TNFD announced the names of the first group of TNFD Early Adopters in January 2024. The next Australian cohort of TNFD Adopters will be officially announced at the Summit in October 2024.
