The Australian Rugby League Commission (ARLC) has announced that Gambaro hotel will be rebranded as The Beetson Hotel, Brisbane.
Following the Commission’s purchase of the property in 2022, the hotel accommodation operation will be rebranded to align with the new ownership along with its iconic position at the heart of the Brisbane sporting and entertainment precinct. The NRL will manage the hotel function.
“It’s an iconic property, so we have chosen an iconic name,” ARLC Chairman Peter V’landys AM said.
“We are excited to introduce The Beetson Hotel which is one of the game’s most important assets and we want it to continue to be a hotel of choice in Brisbane.
“The transition alongside the Gambaro family has been successful and I’d like to sincerely thank the family once again for how they have built a solid reputation for the property.
“We don’t take that responsibility lightly and we want to continue to capitalise on the success of the hotel and showcase our commitment to providing exceptional service.”
The NRL will be refreshing the facilities on the Caxton Street property to align with the new branding.
Gambaro restaurant will continue to operate and will be managed by the Gambaro family.
