Bendigo police arrested a man minutes after an alleged armed robbery at a bakery in Whitehills, Bendigo this morning.
Police were called to the Napier Street premises just before 8am after the man allegedly threated the male staff member with a weapon.
He fled with cash before being arrested a short distance down Napier Street.
The 40-year-old Bendigo man is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
