About 8:45am, a 58-year-old man was riding his black Harley Davidson FXD series motorcycle with a group of other riders, travelling north on the Kwinana Freeway.
The 58-year-old man was at the rear of the group and as they took the exit towards Roe Highway/ Murdoch Drive, his motorcycle clipped an island causing him to fall and collide with a white Nissan Tiida hatchback that was travelling on the Roe Highway/Murdoch Drive exit.
The 58-year-old rider sustained critical injuries in the crash and was conveyed by ambulance to Fiona Stanley Hospital where he later died. The 73-year-old female driver of the Nissan Tiida was not injured.
