The Bikers Toy Run will come to the Crown Street Mall this Saturday 7 December.
The annual event helps to raise awareness of the City of Wollongong Giving Tree, and its participants have been donating gifts for 30 years.
The Toy Run is from 10.30am to 2pm and incorporates a Bike Expo in the Crown Street Mall. There will be a free jumping castle, face painting and displays from Just Cruisin’, City Coast Motorcycles, Illawarra Motoring Museum, Illawarra Class Motorbikes, Fraser Motorcycles in the Mall.
“Christmas is a great time to think of family and friends. So I encourage everyone to visit the Crown Street Mall on 7 December to support this special event and support the bikers who provide lots of gifts for the children of Wollongong,” Cr Bradbery said.
If you would like to support the Giving of Wollongong Giving Tree, unwrapped gifts for children up to 16 years can be left at the designated places until Tuesday, 17 December. They will be collected and distributed by the St Vincent de Paul Society and Anglicare. The locations are:
