From Paddington 2 to musical grooves, Green Square locals can enjoy a program of activities designed to keep everyone in the neighbourhood warm this winter.
Winter Warmers program includes a free outdoor family movie screening, community lunch, music lessons, creative art and woodwork workshops to encourage locals of all ages to meet their neighbours and build community connections.
The City of Sydney program is part of a commitment to ensure Green Square develops as a vibrant, sustainable and creative centre.
Lord Mayor Clover Moore said a program of events would help keep the locals busy, sociable and active during winter.
“This is an opportunity for locals to come and experience something fun in their neighbourhood and make new friends,” the Lord Mayor said.
“I invite all Green Square residents to step outside and join in these events – there’s something for everyone, no matter your age, and all events are free.”
