The Broadford BMX Track is safer and more accessible after maintenance works were completed by Mitchell Shire Council.
The track closed for a week in February to fix the degraded surface and narrow tabletops that made it dangerous for novice riders.
The surface of the track was sealed with a stabilising product to reduce future erosion and loose stone build up and drainage issues were fixed.
The structural changes give the track a better flow and make it more interesting to ride.
The Broadford BMX Track is open to the public and is located at The Parade, Broadford (off Jamieson Street).
