A body believed to be that of a man missing at the Murrumbidgee River, has been located today.
About 5:15pm on (Sunday 3 November 2024), emergency services were called to Middle Beach, Yanco, following reports a 32-year-old man was missing in the Murrumbidgee River.
An extensive multi-agency search for the missing man was subsequently conducted, with ongoing taskings continuing today.
About 2.45pm today (Thursday 7 November 2024), emergency services were called to Middle Beach, Yanco, following reports a body had been located in the water.
The body has been identified as that of the missing man.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
