The body of a man has been located following a search in the Blue Pool in the Budderoo ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Park today.
Emergency services were called to the pool in Missingham Creek – near Robertson – about 8.30pm yesterday (Friday 14 January 2022), after reports a man, aged 26, had slipped on some rocks before disappearing below the water.
Officers from The Hume Police District attended and commenced a search, assisted by officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District, the NSW SES Wingecarribee Unit, NSW Ambulance paramedics, and the ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Parks and Wildlife Service.
Police divers attended the scene, and the body of the 26-year-old was recovered from the water about 2.45am today (Saturday 15 January 2022).
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
