The body of a man has been recovered from the Murray River in the state’s south today.
Emergency services were called to the river after reports a man’s body had been found in the water near the Mildura wharf about 10.30am (Sunday 15 November 2020).
The man, aged 65, was retrieved from the water and officers from Barrier Police District commenced an investigation.
At this stage, his death is not being treated as suspicious.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
